|Interclub challenges are nothing new to the Orange Runners and Sullivan Striders running clubs. In fact, this rivalry has been formalized in an official event for over 10 years. The dedicated yearly event typically consists of a 5K distance event where overall winners, age category leaders, and participation are the all factors in earning the award. For the clubs the Classic 10K ups the ante by doubling the distance to run and awarding only the fastest finishers.|

|Runners of a club who wish to participate in this near elite challenge should indicate it on their race application on-line or on paper. Again there will be no entries taken on race day.|
